Ukrainian Interior Ministry Experts Examined Wreckage Of Car In which Sheremet Was Killed

The speaker of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Artem Shevchenko informed that on July 21, forensic experts examined the wreckage of the burnt car in which the journalist Pavel Sheremet had been killed in a car bombing, and posted photos of the car.

“While waiting for the FBI experts to come, the Interior Ministry experts and investigators of the National Police of Ukraine examine the charred car for evidence of murder of Pavel Sheremet,” – Artem Shevchenko twittered.

Let us remind that the famous Belarusian journalist Pavel Sheremet was killed in Kiev on Wednesday morning, July 20. The car, which he was driving, exploded at the corner of Bohdan Khmelnytsky and Ivan Franko streets in front of the McDonald's restaurant. Police classified the death of the journalist as an assassination.

Four versions of the murder motives have been named: professional activity, hostile relationships, the Russian trace and attempted murder of the chief editor of the “Ukrainskaya Pravda” newspaper, in the car, which Sheremet was driving at the time of the explosion.

On July 21, the advisor to Head of the State Security Service of Ukraine Yuriy Tandit said that the investigation was already handling 6 versions of the resonant crime, but he refused to name the remaining two.
