Another Fine For Entrepreneurs Invented

From now on, entrepreneurs will also be responsible for breaking the anti-monopoly legislation.

The government suggests amendments to the article 244 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus “Violation of Antimonopoly Legislation”. The corresponding draft bill has been offered by the government and may be considered by the “deputies” already this year, tut.by notes.

If previously the criminal responsibility concerned only “an official of a state or any other body of governance”, now it will be not just the “officials”, but also the “individual entrepreneurs” to take responsibility for breaking the anti-monopoly legislation.
