It seems that the Belarusian authorities have successfully implemented the program “cheap teacher”.

According to statistics, the average salary in our country is more than 700 rubles per month. And how much money does the majority of Belarusian workers get?

This year, about 450 thousand people got paid less than 3 million rubles in Belarus in May. The data collected in the National Statistics Committee’s book “Work and employment in the Republic of Belarus” testify to this, “Ezhednevnik” wrote.

And they speak about gross payroll, which means that before diving it out to the workers, they will deduct taxes and other withholdings from it.

A salary of less than 3 million non-denominated Belarusian rubles may surprise a resident of Minsk. However, such salary have, for example, 18% of all workers of the Vitsebsk region.

A salary of less than 3 million non-denominated Belarusian rubles is a norm in the field of education – 29.4% of workers in this field received such salary in May. The same salary received 22.3% of workers in agriculture.

However, the leader in the “penny” wages is a sphere called “creativity, sports, entertainment and recreation” – in this sphere 30.3% of workers had to be satisfied with 3 million non-denominated Belarusian rubles.

However, there are salaries above 15 million non-denominated Belarusian rubles in these same fields of economy. There were 0.4% of the lucky ones receiving such a salary in education and 0.6% in agriculture.

As is known, the average wage in the country is about 700 Belarusian rubles (7 million non-denominated Belarusian rubles) this year. However, not most of the population gets such money.

The book gives the number of workers in the republic, who received a salary of 6 - 8 million non-denominated Belarusian rubles in May this year. It turned out that there are only 20% of such workers. While the vast majority (57%) of employees received less than 6 million non-denominated Belarusian rubles. Once again, we are talking about the gross payroll, but not the salary which the workers actually receive.
