Authorities Want To Send Tourists To Factories

The Ministry of Sport considers unfair that tourists prefer mainly Hrodna region.

This kind of tourism has good prospects for development in our country, the Deputy Minister of Sport and Tourism Mikhail Partny believes.

“The Ministry’s department and the National Tourism Agency are actively engaged with this topical issue,” Interfax reports.

According to the expert, Hrodna region is “ahead of the rest” so far, but, in theory, it the city of Minsk should be most popular. A meeting of the working group on this issue is planned for November.

Mikhail Partny added that such factories as “Slodych” and “Kommunarka” as well as BelAZ plant can become centers of development of industrial tourism in Belarus.
