Independent observers inform about large numbers that commission members "add" to final reports.

Several observers have filed a complaint on this issue to chairmen of election commissions, and have already received an apology and explanation.

Anastasia Medvedzeva, trustee of candidate Tatstsyana Hutarava monitors the polling station №14 in Babruisk. On September 8, she found 37 people who voted, but the report indicated 157 people. She found out that that was the number of voters for one day, not the entire period, HRC Viasna informs.

Anastasia Medvedzeva filed a complaint to the district commission №14, and this morning received the answer that yesterday's figure was a "technical error". It was promised to change the protocol, but the final figure did not coincide with one of Medvedzeva.

Coordinator of Right of Choice campaign Alena Medvedzeva says that observers at polling station №32 (Tuholitsa village - Selski precinct) got the same answer.

- A strange coincidence - many members of these commissions had such "technical errors", Alena Medvedzeva says.

Local observers wonder how such experienced members of commissions can make mistakes so often. As is known, the composition of district and precinct election commissions barely changes from election to election.
