Fortification Named After Ales Charkashyn Appeared Outside Donetsk
ALES CHARKASHYN

Soldiers of the tactical group"Belarus" paid tribute to the national hero of Ukraine from Brest.

According to Radio Racyja, soldiers of the Combat Team "Belarus" have named a fortification just outside Donetsk after their killed sworn brother Ales Charkashyn from Brest (call sign "Taras").

"Heroes don't die" – the phrase which has sounded in Ukraine for some time now. For some it has become a kind of cliché for some - an excuse of their inaction. For us these are not just words. We cherish the memory of our sworn brothers, we really feel them to be close. That's why one of the fortifications of the tactical group "Belarus" was named after Ales Charkashyn."

Soldiers of the tactical group "Belarus" uploaded a video message on YouTube for Ales Charkashyn's parents.

"The time will come when there will be no more darkness and obscurity in our Fatherland and we will name the broadest and the most beautiful street in Brest after Ales. And his surname will be number one in the first unit of the national guard, which we will establish."

Ales Charkashyn (call sign "Taras") – a Belarusian volunteer who fought in the tactical group "Belarus". He died in Zaporozhye hospital from multiple injuries on August 28, 2015.
