Ministry Of Labour To Pay Budget Employees $3 Bonuses

The Ministry of Labour finally decided on the amounts of the bonuses to the budget employees.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection finally made a decision with regard to the amount of the monthly bonuses to the budget employees. They defined specific sums of the bonuses basing on the working category. This has been informed by the Ministry’s website.

The bonuses will be accrued starting from January 1, 2017. The amounts are as follows:

- 1st to 6th category — Bn 8,6;

- 6th to 10th category — Bn 8;

- 10th to 12th category — Bn 7,5;

- 12th to 13th category — Bn 7;

- 13th to 14th category — Bn 6,5;

- 14th category — Bn 5,7.

“Monthly differentiated bonuses do not form a wage-rate and are not taken into account when calculating other bonuses, perks and other payments of the stimulating and compensating nature,” — the Ministry of Labour clarifies.

We remind, since January 1 the first class wage rate has grown in Belarus. For now, it makes Bn 31. The budget employees’ salaries are calculated depending on it. Bonuses change after the wage rate.
