Andżelika Borys Met With Andrzej Poczobut In Navapolatsk Colony

Andżelika Borys, the head of the Union of Poles banned in Belarus, met in the Navapolatsk colony with journalist Andrzej Poczobut, sentenced to eight years of imprisonment. Aliaksandr Lukashenka allowed the meeting. This was reported by the office of Polish President Andrzej Duda.

Duda met with representatives of the leadership of the Union of Poles in Belarus, closed by the Belarusian authorities, Andżelika Borys and Marek Zaniewski.

“Andżelika Boris reported on a meeting with Andrzej Pochobut, who is imprisoned in the Navapolatsk colony, which took place with the consent of Aliaksandr Lukashenka,” the office said in a statement.

Also taking part in the meeting were State Secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister Andrzej Dera and Chairman of the Board of the Fund “Aid to Poles in the East” Mikolaj Falkowski.
