Belarusian MoD On SMS Drafts Procedure

Each military commissariat is assigned a so-called alpha name.

The Ministry of Defence told how Belarusians will be drafted into the army through SMS.

Now Belarusians can be notified that they are to visit military commissaries through the short message service. SMS messages will become an additional notification channel. The paper draft notice will continue to be the main one.

At the moment, the communication operator has assigned each military commissariat a so-called alpha name. It will appear in the sender field.

The message from the military commissariat will have the following information: the time and date of the visit, its purpose, the address of the office and a phone number for reference.
