Political Scientist: Russia Lives In Phantom Pains

The expert trolled Putin’s wanted notice for Zelensky.

On May 4, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs put Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the wanted list. Such actions by the Kremlin indicate an attempt by Russia to at least somehow exalt itself, because their offensive actions at the front before May 9 were not successful.

Ukrainian political scientist Mykola Davydyuk expressed this opinion to Channel 24, noting that by putting Zelensky on the wanted list, the Kremlin is trying to limit our international cooperation. Russia is led by agony and by no means common sense.

What drives the Russians

The political scientist recalled the absurd attempts of the Russians to “take Kyiv in 3 days” and the earlier search for Zelensky, but something went wrong. The Russians are driven by agony, the lack of victories for the Easter holidays and May 9th.

“All these goals that they set for themselves are too much for them, but the “most literate” nation in the world needs to be fed with something other than cheap alcohol,” Davydyuk noted.

According to the political scientist, such actions by the Kremlin are a message to the Global South in an attempt to convince countries not to go to the Peace Summit in Switzerland, because Zelensky is wanted. This is also a demonstration that the Russians have already realized that they will not be able to capture Kyiv, where the President of Ukraine is, so they put him on the wanted list, because then he “will not be able” to travel outside the country.

“Russia lives in some kind of illusory, phantom pain, that if they put us on the wanted list, then we will not be able to have foreign representation as a country,” Davydyuk added.

It is impossible to demand anything from Vladimir Putin, who has been sitting in a bunker for a long time. According to the political scientist, in this example we can see an experiment of what happens to a person if he does not go out into the fresh air for a very long time.

“Ukraine will only be amused by this; Zelensky, on the contrary, will take advantage of it,” Davydyuk noted.

Now, according to the political scientist, this wanted list needs to include Emmanuel Macron, Joe Biden, Jens Stoltenberg and, most importantly, Boris Johnson and David Cameron.

“Cameron brought a very cool solution — the permission to attack Russia. Therefore, we are waiting for the continuation of the list — a wishlist that will never come true,” commented Davydyuk.
