PACE rapporteur to arrive in Minsk

According to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Counsel of Europe (PACE) official web-site, PACE rapporteur on Belarus, Italian deputy Andrea Rigoni will be visiting Minsk on October 16-19.
As leader of the Belarusian People’s Front Vintsuk Viachorka said, A.Rigoni is to meet with democratic opposition on October 18.
Andrea Rigoni was appointed the rapporteur on Belarus at the PACE session held on February 13, 2007. Previously the functions of the rapporteur were performed by Estonian diplomat Andres Herkel, before - Christos Pourgourides.
