Roman Abramovich spent three and a half hours in Minsk 3

0:38, — Politics

The official sources of information keep silence or laugh off about the visit of oligarch Roman Abramovich, the governor of Chukotka. They say if he even flew in Minsk then not to them. But less official but well-informed people claim that last Tuesday, 25 September, the owner of Chelsea Football Club, arrived in Minsk from London. Roman Abramovich’s plane landed in the Minsk-1 airport at about 11 a.m.

One more private plane flew from Moscow. Mercedeses and jeeps were waiting for Abramovich and Moscow passengers at the ladder. The VIPs went through the VIP-hall of the airport and departed in an unknown direction. The cortège moved in the city without GAI escort. The Information and Public Relation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed “KP v Belarusi”.

It can be only supposed where the oligarch went. Negotiations? But the Minsk-1 airport staff assureds they have all the conditions for holding negotiations. There is no need to go far. “KP v Belarusi” phoned to some famous Belarusian businessmen who theoretically may have negotiations with Abramovich, but they heard nothing about his visit. Or they didn’t want to say.

The romantic version that Abramovich was meeting his ex-wife Olga fell off automatically. They are in divorce for a long time. But might a family celebration make Roman Abramovich come back to his first wife for three and a half hours? But as it was found out, Olga live and work in Moscow, has a house near Minsk and visit it from only time to time.

The version about important state negotiations was soon fallen off. According to the witnesses, Abramovich didn’t met with the Belarusian officials, the cars’ number were not governmental.
