Vice Prime Minister: “We’’l have strict control over procedure of leaving abroad”

“There won’t be any new documents, including foreign passports, introduced in Belarus since January 1, 2008,” said A. Kasinets. As said by him, state bodies of Belarus “are ready for cancellation of the permissive stamp for temporary stay abroad of citizens of the country”.

The vice prime-minister has also stated that “a serious regulatory framework is being prepared. It would ensure transparency of migration flows”. He added that “strict control over the procedure of going abroad and in the country will exist”.

At the moment a serious work on creation of a computer database and personified citizens’ register is underway.
