Verdicts are so different…

The court of Kastrychnitski district of Minsk ahs sentenced the applicant for holding the Social March Mikhail Pashkevich to 3 days of arrest. A young activist Mikalay Serhienka has been sentenced to 15 days of arrest by the court of Partyzanski district of Minsk. Judge Natalya Chatvyartkova believes that he had violated article 23.34 of the Administrative Code (violation of rules of mass events).

Judge of Partyzanski district court Syarhei Hermanovich has sentenced a young activist Syarhei Klyueu to 13 days of arrest.

An activist Zmitser Kavalhin was released from the court of Kastrychnitski district because there were no witnesses. Reports of policemen are not a testimony under the Criminal Procedure Code. They can only be the grounds to initiate legal proceedings.

Young people were detained for distributing stickers with an appeal to take part in the Social March on November 4.

It is unknown why they have been tried in different courts.
