Belarusians get ready for Putin's visit

In view of Vladimir Putin’s visit and escalation of the threat of signing the “union state” agreement, in line with the ruling of the congress and of the council, the Belarusian Popular Front party calls upon Belarusians to gather on Kastrychnitskaya square in Minsk with a slogan: “For independent Belarus!”
A deputy chairman of the Belarusian Popular front Viktar Ivashkevich asks to come to the square with white-red-white flags. “All members of the Belarusian Popular Front party are to come to Kastrychnitskaya Square on December 12 at 6 p.m. They are to take white-red-white or European flags with them”. Non-party members are invited to the rally as well. :”We call upon all supporters of Freedom, Independence and European choice who do not belong to any party, support the rally and take part in it,” Viktar Ivashkevich said.
A newly elected chairman of the Belarusian Popular Front party Lyavon Barshcheuski has addressed the authorities, foreign diplomats and journalists: “We call upon the Belarusian regime not to hamper peaceful expression of will of Belarusian citizens. We call upon all diplomats and journalists to control to which degree the Belarusian’s regime behavior is civilized”.
