Today grass-roots protest rallies are held in front of the court of Kastrychnitski district of Mahilyou over the day. People demand release of Young Front activist Artur Finkevich, who is standing a trial on frame-up case.
About 60 persons have gathered near the court of Kastrychnitski district where the trial over Young Front activist, a political prisoner Artur Finkevich has started. Young activists have put on T-shirts with the words: “Freedom to Finkevich!”, hold portraits of the political prisoner and chant “Freedom!”
As we have informed, the political prisoner Artur Finkevich is charged with violation of the regime of serving the sentence in “khimiya” (a corrective labour facility) he faces up to 3 years in a colony. The activist had been sentenced to the corrective lebour facility term for making graffiti “Fed up with him!” and “We want a new one!”
