New ordeal for political prisoner

Political prisoner Artur Finkevich had a meeting with his mother in the Magilou remand jail. It has become known that leader of the Young Front will be transferred to the cell where 30 prisoners are kept, though it is designed for 18 people.

Ales Kalita, leader of “Youth of BPF” said it to the Charter’97 press center. He saw Artur Finkevich’s mother after her visit to the remand jail.

According to Finkevich’s mother, Artur behaves bravely. According to the woman, he has thinned down a lot and grown lean.

It should be reminded that Artur Finkevich was sentenced to 1.5 years of imprisonment on 20 December, just after he had served the term of restraint of freedom on the so called “khimiya” (prison facility of open type) for graffiti “We’ve got enough!” and “We want a new one!”. The activist was accused of violation of the discipline on “khimiya”.
