Police against EU?

10:55, — Politics

Activist of the campaign “Jeans – for Freedom” Volga Gulyakevich was detained near supermarket “Brest” on 4 December. The girl was tying blue ribbons to telegraph poles along Newspaper Zvyazda Avenue.

Policemen, who detained her, didn’t introduce themselves and demanded to switch off a mobile phone. Volga was guarded to city police department ¹1 in the Moscow District. The girl was set free after two hours. The police confiscated the remaining ribbons.

It should be reminded that ahead of the European March youth leaders called for Belarusians, who share European values and support Belarus EU entry, to wear blue ribbons.
