“EuroFest” Final to be Opened by guard of honour squadron

On January 21 a final game of the National TV musical project “EuroFest”. Viewers of the First Musical Channel and the satellite channel “Belarus-TV” are to see the concert in a live television broadcast on January 21 at 9.40 p.m.
Gunesh, a band “Litesound”, Ruslan Alekhno and the band “Po glazam” are to compete for the paryicipation in Eurovosion-2008 contest in Belgrade, Serbia.
The most prominent music stars have been invited to the final concert by the First Music Channel. Among them are Natalya Podolskaya, a winner of the year 2003, a chic Turkish singer Sertab Erener, a winner of the year 2004, a red-blooded Ukrainian singer Ruslana, and flamboyant winners of the 2006 final, Finnish group Lordi. Alexander Panayotov, a Russian singer, as one of the main candidates for the trip to Belgrade, has been invited as well. The youngest star guest of the final concert is to become a winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007 Alexey Zhigalkovich.
The concert is to be opened by guard of honour squadron. They wick sing the song “Work your magic”.
In the end of the concert a hymn of the EuroFest “We Rock” is to be performed. It’s a novelty which is to become a tradition at the next festivals. The song is to be sung by finalists of EuroFest in Belarusian and English. A producer of the song and author of the music is Evgeniy Olejnik, lyrics written by Viktor Rudenko (“Dali” band soloist).
