Memorial to lost benefits

A memorial to the lost benefits, cancelled on 17 December, 2007, appeared in the pedestrian underpass near the Kamarouski Market on 27 January. The memorial was timed to the 40th day of the deprival of benefits.
The action was held by activists of the European Belarus campaign and became a last farewell to the social benefits in Belarus. The event was organised in support of the campaign for collecting votes for Belarus’s joining to the EU and had a motto “For European benefits!”
