Human rights activists arrested in Hrodna

Human rights activists of Hrodna organized a street action dedicated to the 60th anniversary of proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Members of human rights organizations were distributing UDHR texts among Hrodna dwellers.

Riot militia officers detained Viktar Sazonau, Uladzimir Khilmanovich, Yan Roman, and Aleh Kalinkou for verification of identity. According to Belarusian laws, detention can’t be lasted more than 3 hours, Radio Racyja reminds.
