Young Front invites Belarusian youth to take part in the rally on February 14, which is to start at 5 p.m. on Svaboda (Freedom) Square in Minsk.

“On February 14 at 5 p.m. on Svaboda Square in Minsk Young Front starts its annual rally timed to St. Valentine’s Day. The rally will be held under national flags, with slogans “We love Belarus”, “We love Europe” and “Belarus to Europe”. We will visit Embassies of the EU countries and the US. We shall bring them congratulations, and to those congratulations we add a request to influence the Belarusian authorities and make them release all political prisoners,” the Charter’97 press-center was told by one of the Young Front leaders Artur Finkevich.

The youth leader has commented an intention of the pro-regime organization the Belarusian Republican Youth Union to hold an action “For our loved Belarus”. Members of the BRYU can congratulate on St. Valentine’s Day their favourite musicians, sportsmen and politicians.

“Certainly, one can declare their affection to Yarmoshyna, but love to Belarus means a different thing. One should love their people, respect their language, culture, history, wish your country to be free, think and work for its future. We invite all young people irrespective of their political views to take part in our rally”.
