Among 18 passengers of CRJ-100 plane heading for Minsk 4 are citizens of Belarus, 1 – of Russia, 1 – of Ukraina, 5 – of Georgia and the rest are Armenian citizens.
The plane of the national Belavia airline crashed on takeoff from Erevan’s international Zvartnots Airport.
The incident took place at 4.30am local time when the plane was taking off. It was heading from Erevan for Minsk carrying 18 passengers and 3 crew members on board. The manufactured in Canada aircraft SRG-100 hit its left wing on the runway when taking off and fell to the earth.
