It becomes a tradition to finish Day of Solidarity with festive fireworks in honour of imprisoned freedom fighters. On February 16 at 11 p.m. activists of the civil campaign “Jeans for Freedom” organized a firework near the pre-trial detention center in Valadarski Street in Minsk. One of political prisoners, Andrei Kim, is kept there at the moment.
He was detained on January 21 at a protest rally and arrested for 10 days. After serving the term young activist was charged with violation of Article 364 of the Criminal Code (threats of violet actions against policemen) and placed to a pre-trial detention center.
