Milinkevich set free after interrogation 4

Leader of the movement “For Freedom!” Alyaksandr Milinkevich was set free after he had been interrogated as a witness on a criminal case initiated after the entrepreneurs’ protest action on 10 January in Minsk, and on the case of political prisoner Andrei Kim.

Leader of the movement “For Freedom!” was detained about 12.00pm near the house-museum of the RSDLP (The Russian Social-Democratic Labour Party) together with movement activists Ales Lahvnets and Alyaksei Kryvalets. Some officers in civvies detained them and guarded to the investigative committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The detained were questioned separately in different rooms, and were released.

In the meantime one of the entrepreneurs’ leaders Ales Makaeu and democratic activist Vyachaslau Siuchyk are still in the investigative committee. As “Nasha Niva” reports, a representative of the US embassy came to them.
