All-European action in support of Kazulin 2

15:18, — Politics

The biggest Polish daily newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza published an article about all-European action in support of Alyaksandr Kazulin.

The organisers are the Amnesty International and the civil initiative Wolna Bialorus. Participants are offered to sign up an appeal to Alyaksandr Lukashenka with a demand to release A. U. Kazulin.

“Death of a close person is a drama that can’t be reconciled with political categories, and we find blackmail and attempts of compulsion to any political declarations to be humiliation of human dignity,” the open letter runs. The first who signed the letter are world-wide famous public figures and human rights activists Sergei Kovalyov, Adam Michnik, Miroslav Marynowich, Marek Edelman, leader of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, and many others. “Only one thing can be a partial atone for huge losses that he suffered under your rule – it is unconditional release of and stopping of repressions and mockery over Alyaksandr Kazulin,” authors of the letter say.

You can sign up the appeal on the Internet on the site www.wolnabialorus.pl/glowna.php
