Viktor Shenderovich calls to support Andrei Kim

Famous Russian writer Viktor Shenderovich called to support activist of the Belarusian opposition Andrei Kim, who faces 6-year imprisonment.
Viktor Shenderovich commented on his call to support arrested Andrei Kim on the request of Russian Internet-newspaper “Izbrannoe”:
– I have known Andrei Kim for some years. I have respect for him, the feeling that arises rarely towards such young people. He looks like a responsible grown-up with strong character. The organisation, whose member he is, unites Christian activists. Their main aim is to help elderly people.
Andrei Kim, youth activist of the campaign “Initiative,” was arrested on 21 January at the protest rally of entrepreneurs. He was got 15 days of administrative arrest, after that he was accused of violence and threat of violent acts against a militiaman (article 364 of the Criminal Code). If Andrei Kim is found guilty, he will face 6 year of imprisonment.
