A Hunger Strike with a Demand to Release Political Prisoners Started in Belarus 5

A former deputy of the “chamber of representatives” Syarhei Skrabets and his younger brother Alyaksandr have announced an indefinite hunger strike today. They demand Alyakasndr Lukashenka to release political prisoners Alyaksandr Kazulin, Andrei Kim and Syarhei Parsyukevich.

The statement by the brothers reads:

“We state that as before the civil society is being exterminated in our country. Today we announce an indefinite hunger strike with a demand to Lukashenka to stop repressions and release political prisoners Alyaksandr Kazulin, Andrei Kim, Syarhei Parsyukevich immediately. We ask all people of good will to support our demands,” Radio Svaboda cites the statement.
