The commander of Minsk of riot police regiment of Minsk Yury Padabed and the commander of internal troops Special Forces Dzimtry Paulichenka were in command of crackdown on the peaceful demonstration in Minsk on March 25.
The both colonels are on the blacklist of the EU and the US and banned from entry to these countries. Yury Padabed was blacklisted for crackdown on peaceful rallies in Minsk. Dzmitry Paulichenka is suspected in involvement in abductions and assassinations of Belarusian opposition leaders Yury Zakharanka, Viktar Hanchar, a businessman and public leader Anatol Krasouski and a journalist Zmitser Zavadsy.
