Some actions demanding to release political prisoners, opposition activists, arrested 25 March, and stop pressing upon independent Belarusian media were held in Minsk 30 March.
40 people with portraits of prisoners of conscience came to October Square at 6.00pm. Three paddy wagons and some militia cars were watching outside the Palace of Republic. Militiamen were watching participants of the action and taking footage.
At the same time activists of the civil campaign “European Belarus” took to Independence Avenue. They carried portraits of democratic activists arrested at the action on Freedom Day.
