At a crossing of Independence Avenue and Kazlou Street, where opposition demonstration was beaten up brutally on 25 March, an action demanding to stop cruel crackdown of peaceful demonstrations in Minsk was held at 6.00 30 March.
Activists of the civil campaign “European Belarus” formed a chain along the traffic way and raised their hands. They painted their hands red, which would symbolised the blood of people, beaten by riot militia on that day.
Passers-by asked young people what it meant. Activist told what had happened on this spot on 25 March.
