Prosecutor demanded 2 years in colony for Andrei Kim and correctional work s for others

Prosecutor demands 2 years of imprisonment for Andrei Kim and different terms of restriction of liberty, or so called “Khimia,” for other accused people in the trial of 14.
At the beginning of the trial the judge refused to question witnesses the defence, because the judicial investigation was over. During judicial pleadings prosecutor Ramasheuski reviewed internet publications concerning the trial of 14. He also admitted emergency ambulance worked in normal mode during the rally of entrepreneurs on 10 January and data on lost profits of enterprises and public transport caused by the demonstration shouldn’t be attached to the case.
Though the video materials showed Andrei Kim and other accused were not guilty, the prosecutor demanded 2 years of imprisonment for Andre Kim, charged with “violent acts against a militiaman,” and different terms of restriction of liberty, or so called “khimia” for other accused. M. Pashkevich, A. Dubski and A. Bondar – 2.5 years of restriction of liberty, and the rest – 2 years of correctional works.
Tatsyana Kim, activist Andrei Kim’s mother, burst into tears when she heard prosecutor’s words.
It should be reminded that the rally of entrepreneurs was organised in the Minsk center on 10 January against presidential decree No 760. It was attended by from three to five thousand people. Dozens of them were detained and beaten up.
14 people were brought accusations of participation in riot. They are Alyaksandr Barazenka, Alyaksei Bondar, Paval Vinahradau, Maksim Dashuk, Artsyom Dubski, Andrei Kim, Anton Koipish, Mikhas Kryvau, Mikhas Pashkevich, Ales Straltsou, Mikhas Subach, Uladzmir Sayrheeu, Ales Charnyshou, and Tatsyana Tsishkevich.
Alyaksandr Barazenka, Paval Vinahradau, Mikhas Subach, and minor Maksim Dashuk, will have trial later. They didn’t have enough time to learn the material of the criminal case, so the trial was postponed sine die.
