Independent journalist may be accused of murder

Famous Hrodna poet and journalist Yury Humyanyuk may be accused of preparation for murder. A woman, living nearby, filed an appeal to militia and explained her life is menaced.
21 April Yury Humyanyuk’s neighbour Tereza Bubeshka called militia officers and said them Yury Humyanyuk, his mother and Hrodna dweller Anatol Rusinouski were going to kill her. The woman had no proofs, but militia officers draw up a report and assured her that a district militia officer would investigate the case, Radio Racyja reports.
According to Humyanyuk, actions of the woman are explained by her invariable behaviour in the society:
– Tereza Bubeshka is a notorious brawler of our district. In my view, the militiamen took her appeal sceptically, but appointed verification by complaint. It cannot but worries me. I suppose my mother and me will have to go to court to defend our honour and dignity.
Yury Humyanyuk, who is working for Radio Racyja and a number of Polish media, doesn’t exclude the latest events concerning him and his family may have provocative character and were fabricated by the Belarusian secret agencies who n such a way try to hinder him in journalist work and cooperate with independent media.
