Russian Air Force is to take part in large-scale drill of military forces of Belarus “autumn -2006” which is to take place at the territory of Belarus in the second part of the year.
It was said to Interfax by Col. Gen. Alexander Zelin, Russian Air Force chief.
“Russian Air Force is to take part in this drill. We are a union state. Preparation to the drill is taking place in a regular regime,” A. Zelin said to reporters in Sevastopol on Sunday.
In the middle of April Belarusian Air Force and Air Defence chief stated that Minsk sent a proposal to Russian Air Force to take part in the drill “Autumn-2008”.
