Political prisoner Syarhei Parsyukevich needs urgent operation

According to Stramkouskaya, Parsyukevich has asthma aggravation, and doctors recommend him an urgent operation. There are no conditions for it in the Zhlobin detention center, Radio Svaboda reports.
On 23 April the Maskouski district court of Minsk sentenced entrepreneurs’ leader Syarhei Parsyukevich to two and a half years in a medium security penal colony. The Vitsebsk businessman was arrested in Minsk on 4 April for allegedly “violent acts against a militia officer.” Shortly before it Parsyukevich had been detained for participation in the rally of entrepreneurs and got 15 days of arrest in the detention center on Akrestin Street. According to Parsyukevich, on 21 January he was brutally beaten up by Alyaksandr Dulub, a detention center officer. Later this militiaman accused Sayrhei Parsyukevich of beating up to avoid accusation of excess of power.
