Anatol Lyabedzka demanded more 1000 dollars for European March

The Tsentralny district court of Minsk notified leader of the United Civil Party Anatol Lyabedzka on beginning procedure of collection of 2,242,770 rubles to Gorremont enterprise in the structure of the Minsk city executive committee.

It is a sum of harm, damaged to this body in the structure of the Minsk city executive committee by participants of the European March, the website ucpb.org reports.

In case the sum is not paid within 7 days, officers of court threaten to reattach and seize the politician’s property. Anatol Lyabedzka himself regards the events as banditism and racketeering. He doesn’t understand why the court wants him to pay off, though the decision of the court related to seven applicants for the European March. The UCP leader thinks the courts “are not able to compose a short document of ten sentences in proper way.”

It should be reminded that applicants for the European March were leader of the “For Freedom” movement Alyaksandr Milinkevich, deputy heads of the Belarusian Popular Front party Viktar Ivashkevich and Vintsuk Vyachorka, UCP leader Anatol Lyabedzka, leaders of the youth movements Zmitser Khvedaruk and Yauhen Afnahel.

Besides Gorremavtodor enterprise, Minskzelenstroi, Remavtodor of the Savetski and Pershamaiski districts and a number of other organisations claimed against the applicants of the European March. A total sum of fines exceeds 6 million rubles. As complainants think, demonstrators were trampling grass, breaking trees, used 10 portable toilets, and littered, so the city communities had to clean poles and buildings from stickers. The claim also demanded to pay extras for street cleaners for overwork.
