Lawyer Zmitser Harachka: «Prison is the same as shooting for Zeltser’

Zmitser Harachka, a lawyer of Emanuel Zeltser and Vladlena Bruskova, has stated that he would seek absolutory sentence in the Supreme Court for his clients.

The lawyer Zmitser Harachka has stated to Radio Svaboda after the verdict to E. Zeltser and v. Bruskova was passed:

“To find guilty on such grounds is rather wild for me, to say the truth… We shall challenge the verdict in any case, though we do not have many illusions. Mr Zeltser’s state of health is very bad. This verdict amounts to an execution,” the lawyer said.

As said by Harachka, the articles under which Zeltser and Harachka are accused, do not demand the trial to be held behind the closed doors.
