45

The minister of health said no fatal cases of the A(H1N1) virus were registered.

“No death cases of swine flu have been confirmed in laboratories in Belarus,” minister of health Vasily Zharko told Interfax.

He added that one can die from any disease, but confirmed fatal cases of swine flu were not registered in Belarus.

As www.charter97.org has reported earlier, information about fatal cases of swine influenza in Minsk hospitals appeared on the Belarusian internet.

Information about death of some people in hospital #5 appeared on the Internet on October 28. Blogger sammy_belarus wrote two persons, 30 and 37 years old, died from the A(H1N1) influenza in the intensive care unit.

Blogger czy claims fatal cases of swine flu have been recorded in many Minks hospitals.

Personnel of hospital #5 refused to comment on the information to our website. The Health Committee of the Minsk city executive committee says they don not have confirmed information the people died from swine flu.
