Current EU policy helps more Belarusian dictatorship

Most participants of the internet poll think so.

The Charter’97 website offered the readers to answer to a question “in your view, does the current EU policy help more the Belarusian dictatorship or the people of Belarus?”

Only 19.8 per cent of the voters said they approved the strategy of certain European officials aimed at closer relations with the Belarusian dictatorship in spite of human rights violations in the country, political prisoners and repressions against the opposition.

The vast majority of the voters – 80.2 per cent – think the current EU policy profitable for the dictator’s regime and doesn’t have any advantage for the people of Belarus.

P.S. we offer our readers to take part in another poll: “In your view, where should Europe invite Lukashenka: to Prague or to the Hague?” (you can vote in the right upper corner of the webpage).
