Lukashenka met “staff banker” of dictator Milosevic

The Belarusian head of state take part in a business forum in Kopaonik, where he was invited to by a businessman of a team of the former head of Yugoslavia.

According to some Serbian media, Lukashenka was invited for a business forum in Kopaonik by Dragomir Karic, radio Svaboda reports.

Serbian 60-year old businessman Dragomir Karic, whose family hosted Lukashenka in Kopaonik during the forum, has wide contacts in political, business, and scientific circles both in the former Yugoslavian states and abroad, including Russia.

Dragomir Karic together with his brothers Bogoljub, Zoran, and Sreten owns multinational “Karic Brothers” corporation, and is a founder of the Association of Manufacturers and Businessmen Karicevog.

What about Bogoljub Karic, he held different responsible official posts under Milosevic. The last his post was minister of privatization of the Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia. The brother make no secret of the riches they have. They are still known as staff bankers and main money securities of the Milosevic family in former Yugoslavian republics.

As Borba writes, it was Dragomir Karic, who welcomed Lukashenka at Konstantin Veliki airport in Nis. Last Saturday. From there the guests moved to Grand Hotel in Kopaonik, which belongs to Karicevog association.

According to the edition, Lukashenka and Karic spent two nights in a club with a big company, where speeches in honour of Serbia, Russia, and Slobodan Milosevic could be heard.

It is also reported that the Belarusian ruler met Serbian prime minister Mirko Cvetkovic and minister of economy Mladjan Dinkic on the sidelines of the forum. They agreed upon signing of an agreement on free trade between the countries.

Speaking with the Serbian prime minister about the impressions from vacation in Kopaonik, teh Belarusian ruler said:

“I am not picky, and this place looks as it had been created by God.”

It is known that Serbian president Boris Tadic takes part in the business forum in Kopaonik. There’s no information about a meeting of Tadic and Lukashenka. Observers of the local and foreign media say tadi made a tough speech at the forum.

Hungarian Inforadio reports that Tadic expresses his deep concern over the corruption in the top-echelon. He stressed that Serbia might face serious problems if criminal activities, politics, economy and judiciary went on in the country.
