Waffles Kolya appeared on sale in Minsk (Photo fact)

The new product drew attention of Minsk dwellers with its name – Kolya is a name of Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s younger son.

The waffle is produced by Minskhlebprom company. It should seem it is an ordinary thing to name the waffle Kolya, like chocolates Alyonka (Alyonka is a feminine name). But the name Kolya has been used so often lately, because the son of the Belarusian ruler is accompanying his father everywhere, even in official visits, so this fact can’t be a simple coincidence.
