Policeman hanged himself in one of parks of Minsk

This time it was a sergeant of the patrol and inspection service. The policeman was found in the park near Hurtsyeu Street.

This year it was the second suicide of a policeman in Minsk and the forth in Belarus. The Interior Affairs chief directorate of Minsk city executive committee does not give any information about the accident, and decline comment on its reasons. “Ezhednevnik” was just told that the Interior Affairs chief directorate of Minsk city executive committee does not see any tendency of growth of policemen’s suicides.

Meanwhile, as it turned out, the tragedy took place about a week ago. In the forested area by Hurtsyeu Street a sergeant of the patrol and inspection service hanged himself. He had been working in the police for two years.

At the moment the prosecutor’s office is investigating the reasons of the suicide.

As we have informed, in mid April 2009 in Minsk a district policeman shot himself. The body of the policeman was found near a kindergarten. And in the end of June in Rechytsa a riot policemen committed suicide.
