Only ideology officers and staff of executive committees have access to verifying signatures

On November 8, results of verifying signatures for presidential candidates were summed up at a sitting of the district election commission in the town of Byaroza.
As it was found out from inspection reports, the signatures were verified only by six members of the election commission, A. Nelipovich, H. Muratava, Y. Kashtalyan, V. Kuzmin, N. Radzko, and A. Pralich.
Nelipovich, Muratava, and Kashtalyan are officers of the Byaroza district executive committee; Pralich is the second secretary of BRSM unit in Byaroza; Kuzmin is a deputy director on ideology in the local utility office; Radzko is the director of district fuel sales office in Byaroza.
Five of them were members of the district election commission at the latest election, Radzko was a member of the region commission.
The rest seven commission members didn’t take part in signature verifying procedure. They were present at the sitting as ceremonial bystanders.
As the campaign “Human Rights Activists for Free Elections” learnt, five external specialists were invited to verify the signatures.
