Salary of Dutch teacher 15 times larger than Belarusian teacher’s

A Belarusian teacher is to work more than a year to reach the salary of his Dutch colleague.
A website Mojazarplata.by writes for which salaries Belarusian educators can count on.
According to the Belarusian Statistics Ministry, the education sphere belong to the three most low-paid industries in Belarus. Thus, an average salary in the industry in June 2010 was 874, 074 Br ($290 at the average National Bank’s currency exchange rate in June).
For comparison: a teacher of foreign languages who lives in the capital of the Czech Republic earns 26,980 CZK (or $1,440) a month.
A salary of a Dutch teacher of foreign languages in the Netherlands is 3,806 Euro (or $5,024) a month.
