Russian Financial Corporation: Union with Belarus is laughing-stock

6

President of the bank Russian Financial Corporation, former Finance Minister of Russia Andrei Nechayev, attacked Belarusian-Russian relations.

When he participated in the program “Credit of trust” at Echo of Moscow radio station, Andrei Nechayev was asked a question whether there is a hope that a union would be formed in the relations with Ukraine, like it was with Belarus. The financier answered:

- You know, I would not like a union to be formed with Ukraine, as well as with any other country, reminding the one with Belarus. As it is certainly not a union, but a kind of a laughing-stock, and our government seems to have realized that finally, and so such an active informational campaign is carried out against Mr Lukashenka at top Russian TV channels and in leading Russian printed media, which is obviously inspired from higher authorities.

Let us speak plainly, the union is disappointing. None of the goals set when the idea emerged, has not been reached de facto. There is no single currency, no single economic space.
