NTV: Sannikov is main Lukashenka’s competitor at the election (Video)

A Russian TV channel called the main competitor of the Belarusian dictator at the upcoming election.

As NTV reported in the evening September 24, the Belarusian Central Election Commission received an application for registration from the initiative group to propose Alyaksandr Lukashenka for the presidential post.

Besides the sitting head of state, initiative groups of 13 aspirants, among them leader of European Belarus civil campaign Andrei Sannikov, applied for registration.

As Belarusian politologists forecast, it is he who can become the main competitor of Lukashenka and the single opposition candidate if the opposition chooses to unite.

The election in Belarus is scheduled for December 19, NTV reminds.
