Application for Lukashenka’s initiative group registration filed with violation of law

The Central Election Commission has accepted the application for registration of Lukashenka’s initiative group for nomination him as a candidate for presidency.

8,403 persons have become members of Lukashenka’s initiative group. It is headed by Education Minister Alyaksandr Radzkou, AFN reports.

According to the Electoral Code, filing applications is made by a person who had showed willingness to run in the election campaign.

However, as informed by PRIME-TASS with a reference to the secretary of the CEC Mikalai Lazavik, the application had been handed in by Radzkou.
