President of European Parliament met with Milinkevich

The meeting of Jerzy Buzek and leader of the “For Freedom” movement took place on September, 26 in Warsaw.

The profound conversation on the topic of the nearest presidential elections, prospects of the development of the program of “Eastern partnership”, “Euronest” activities, solving of the visa issue lasted for more than an hour, press service of “For Freedom” movement reports.

Alyaksandr Milinkevich told Jerzy Buzek in detail about political and economic situation in Belarus at the threshold of the elections, explained the reasons of his refusal to nominate himself a candidate for presidency, and also informed about the forms of his participation in the political campaign.

At the end of the conversation leader of the “For Freedom” movement thanked the President of European Parliament for his recent statement concerning the elections in Belarus, in which a clear evaluation of the election process in Belarus is given.
