“Movement Forward” is being deprived of state registration

On September, 6 the research and enlightening institution “Movement Forward” filed an appeal to the Highest Economic Court.

The talk is about the decision of the Economic Court of Minsk, which admitted the fact that the leasing agreement made between Tina Vlati, Ltd and the research and enlightening institution “Movement Forward” was void and null, “Belarusian Partisan” reports.

On August, 25 the Appellate instance of the Economic Court of Minsk passed a resolution to leave unaltered the decision of the Economic Court of Minsk of July, 29, 2010 № 608-19/10, and the appeal of the research and enlightening institution “Movement Forward”- without satisfaction.

The Appellate instance of the Economic Court of Minsk came to a conclusion, that the Economic Court legitimately establish the fact of nullity of the leasing agreement of February,10 2010 № 10/02-10, made between Tina Vlati, Ltd and the research and enlightening institution “Movement Forward”. In the opinion of the Economic Court of Minsk, the leasing agreement between the appellees is considered null and void in accordance with the fact that the premises, provided by Tina Vlati, Ltd to the research and enlightening institution “Movement Forward” in compliance with the leasing agreement terms and, being a subject to utilization as a place of the institution performance, do not correspond to the purpose of such property.

Deputy Director of the research and enlightening institution “Movement Forward” Nina Pakhlopka considers the court decision “groundless and liable to revocation”.

“At the beginning the organization was deprived of its legal address, and now it is being deprived of the state registration”, - remarked Deputy Director of the research and enlightening institution “Movement Forward” Nina Pakhlopka. The talk is about the fact that the management of the organization “Movement Forward” received a notification from the Minsk City Executive Council about the reviving of the first court decision on admission of the state registration of the organization void. The date of the examination of the claim – has not been established yet.
