UCP youth activists detained in Minsk center

At least seven youth activists of the United Civil Party have been detained on October Square in Minsk at 2 pm.

As an eyewitness told the website ucpb.org, the UCP youth activists were crossing October Square on their way to the Central Department Store.

All of a sudden they found themselves surrounded by plainclothes strong-built men with walkie-talkies.

Then they were given to another group of men, who pushed the guys into a bus standing near the Palace of the Republic.

Among the detained activists are Aleh Korban, Alyaksandr Stepanenka, Dzmitry Baiko, Aleh Kirol, Dzmitry Silchanka, Mikhail Mikulich, and Zakhar Mikhalkin.
